We the people petition the state of New Jersey to grant U.S. Army veteran Amanda Hurst her children.
Amanda Hurst joined the U.S. Army in 2009 to make a bedder life for her children. Her children were 7 and 8 years old when she was deployed. During her deployment she left the children in the care of her step mom. Hurst fought in Afghanistan and Iraq and just before she was honorably discharged in 2013, her stepmother moved to New Jersey with her children. The children ended up in the care of New Jersey's Department of Children and Families because of their special needs.
Amanda Hurst served this country to make a future with her children. Now it is this great nations time to help Amanda Hurst have a future with her kids.
