A petition to stop an "Assault Weapons" ban.

Created by C.N. on December 21, 2012

This petition is to try and stop the reinstatement of the 1994 Assault Weapon Ban. And to get the government to More heavily enforce existing laws and to also make a better screening practice for all FFL (federal firearms license) dealers to follow. It is the constitutional right of every individual to have firearms. There is laws in place for individuals to have a fully automatic weapon to have a federal firearms license. There is no need to ban certain things that look similar to military weapons (collapsible stock, high capacity magazine, tactical rails, etc.) These are improvements compared to making more gun control laws or continuing an Assault weapon ban. If criminals followed laws then they wouldn't be criminals. So increasing laws won't keep criminals from possessing illegal items
