We're Laotian people who live in the United States and other countries around the world. We wish to petition the world to hear our concerns reguarding the Human Rights violations ongoing in our country Laos. The people of Laos lived under the rule Royal Lao Government before 1975. Since 1940, under the leadership of Ho Chi Minh, Laos was overthrown by Communist Vietnam. Communist Vietnam rounded and captured all of the leaders of the Royal Lao Government, taken to North Vietnam and became prisoners. Most of them was tortured and killed, genocide, included King of Laos Savang Vattana and families, except for a few who managed to escape. North Vietnam ignored to the UN mandates & agreements 1962 Geneva Accord & 1973 Peace, included cease-fire, Vietnam & US troops agreed to the withdrawal
