A newly employed history teacher, Mr. Francis, according to Sara Taylor on Facebook.com, presented the deface of the American Flag by first asking for a lighter in class, presenting imminent lawless action by threatening to cause a fire in a public space, a form of terrorism, and then requesting a pair of scissors to show his students how he was "exercising his first amendment." According to the verdict of Texas v. Johnson in 1995, this is a form of free speech, however, is it righteous to plague the class of this distaste for Old Glory? This is a violation of the common core curriculum and action needs to be pursued against the school's county!
