Many of the Senators that sit on the Science and Technology Commission have absolutely no knowledge into the subject they are creating legislation for. This needs to change as it holds back the progress needed for our country to be a leader in Science and Technology, thus encouraging those that work in those fields, and those in the top of those fields, to immigrate to our great country and advance us as a world power. Instead those individuals will choose other countries to reside in and advance them in Technology and Science beyond ours.
Testing those that are potential members for the Commission on Science and Technology on the Environment, Energy, Technology, Research, Space, and other Sciences will allow for those most qualified to be on the Commission to be there.
