Currently the Tibetan people are treated like second class people. They are rural citizen's. They do not get schooling or any proper utensils of peaceful democracy building like, higher education on the matter of economics, or Democratic political issues. This then leaves them very upset and without way of expression, so they hurt themselves. If the US could petition the UN to create a school to teach them how to resist their opposition peacefully. Then we could see the Tibetan people start to advance towards their goal of self governance. As many bigger countries have allowed smaller countries they have invaded to govern themselves, and their culture. Which might bring their spiritual ancient beliefs back under their own personal control. If they could gain enough political clout.
