Like many Americans, I enjoy practicing my shooting skills at gun ranges. However, for me and many of my friends and fellow gun range enthusiasts, owning a gun is a privilege, and should not be a right.
Because gun ownership has become in our culture virtually a "sacred" right under the 2nd Amendment, it is extremely difficult for the states and the federal government to legislate gun laws to protect our citizens.
Too many innocents have suffered and died so we can have our guns. It’s time for this to end.
Support the crusade to end gun violence. Petition the United States Congress to adopt a Constitutional amendment that changes the RIGHT to bear arms to a PRIVILEGE. Together, we can make a better, safer world for our children.
