For the United States to endorse a petition to appeal to the Turkish government to acknowledge the Armenian genocide, yet not officially recognize the genocide that the European immigrants committed against the Native Americans of North America is confusing, and extremely disingenuous.
We the People petition the United States government to officially affirm that the United States government, and its People, endorsed a genocide against the Native American People of North America. To not be held accountable for ones countries actions, whilst condemning other nations for the same atrocities, is contemptible. To maintain respect, please officially declare a recognition of the obscene atrocities committed, and how current policy has decimated peoples of Native American descent.
