This would be a huge impact for birth parents , adoptees, and their biological families to have these adoption records unsealed. By utilizing the law to help them search in finding one another, allowing families to reunite. It is cruel and inhumane to not allow families to reconnect because of a choice made or forced upon the birth parent(s), and or by a law made decades ago. Medical attention may be needed for these adoptees. As well as a change of heart in some instances for the birth parents. Siblings born before or after, should have a chance to know the adoptive child. It is devastating for children who grow up to be adults to not know the family of where they came from. It is hard all around for those involved in adoptions. Please be considerate and help change this IA law.
