Petition urging the Congress and President Obama to intervene to stop violations of children's rights in Vietnam.

Created by N.N. on November 25, 2015

On Nov/24th/2015, Vietnamese authorities have sentenced a 15-year-old boy Nguyen Mai Trung Tuan for 4 years and 6 months for protesting against land grabs.
The boy once tried to say "Long live South Vietnam" at a protest in front of his home.
Many citizens believed the boy was sent to jail for his political belief. They came to the court to support him, but were blocked at the door by police.
Four-years and six-months prison sentence for his political beliefs is a serious violation of the Children’s Rights.
We, the undersigned, urge the Congress and President Obama to raise his case with Vietnamese Government for the immediate release of Nguyen Mai Trung Tuan.
Kind regards.
