This petition will allow for the preserving of the night sky, ecosystems and the general population.

With current public lighting, we as citizens of the United States of America are losing an inherent right, the right to the stars. With current lighting regulation many Americans can not see the stars and many more can barely see any stars. In the event the United States upgraded their lighting to "Full Cut of Shielding" we will be able to save 2,000,000,000 dollars a year, and will help preserve nocturnal ecosystems, reduce the chances of cancer, reduce actual air pollution, and allow us to experience the night sky.
