The United States gives approximately $192 million dollars or more each year to the Philippine government. At least $31 million is for military aid. President Duterte has said " Time to say goodbye" to the United States and is now looking to China. Humanitarian aid is always a good cause, as long as that money is going to the people of the Philippines, but military aid supporting a country has does not alien itself with our own is not in the best interest of the United States.
