Physicians that currently supply durable medical equipment to their own patients i.e.: cpap/bi-level and related supplies are being forced to send these patients to a 3rd party approved supplier under Competitive Bidding Program.
The Physician/Patient relationship promotes continuity of care, quality of care and is a benefit for the patient on many levels.It should remain intact.
