Future congressional wage increases should be pinged to either:
1. Actual consumer buying power such that when inflation increases outpace wage increases congress shall have their wage cut buy the percentage of loss of consumer buying power or should worker median wages outpace inflation by i.e, 5%, congress shall be able to appropriate %5 wage increases for themselves.
2. No more than 200% the median income for their district
3. No more than 5 times the poverty level income for their district
4. This shall not apply to other government benefits.
