Place age restrictions on beauty pageants.

Created by D.O. on March 25, 2012

Beauty pageants may develop insecurity issues for young children as they grow and develop. Pageant contestants subject these children to criticism and judgement, and at such young ages as 12, 5, or even 2, this treatment and lifestyle can prove harmfully influential. The children are furthermore exposed to rigid cosmetic and beauty procedures such as tanning, waxing, and even botox injections.

We find the above stated treatment of young beauty pageant participants abusive and therefore request age restrictions placed on such events.
