Place armed police officers in every school across the nation. It is cheaper than the occupation of Iraq and afganistan

I find it ridiculous that we have to be afraid to send our children to school. We spend tens of millions, probably billions of dollars a year to be in Iraq and Afganistan. I'm sure that we could spend a fraction of that to place an officer in every school in our nation, so that attacks on children never happen again. President Obama, show us Americans how much respect you have for us!
