Due to a recent rise in school shootings and even outside of school shootings, I start to realize that we need to bump up school security. Now, at the school that i go to has metal detectors do not scan 2 feet below the knee. This is showing that someone could be bringing a possible weapon through security and not getting stopped. We also do not have security officers that carry a weapon or even a simple tazer or a firearm. I think that if there was another attempted school shooting at school or anywhere else, by using this method, officers can help make the earth a better and safer place for everyone. And the shooting rates and minimize death rates for school shootings.
