Petsmart and it's breeder, Rainbow Exotics continues to sell Psittacosis Chlamydia infected birds to its consumers. This is a Deceptive Trade Practice. Petsmart claims a guaranteed product in a "Vet Assured" program; however, consumers are buying infected birds from Petsmart. The act posses a serious health risk to consumers & general public. Petsmart continues to pull 1,000's of birds from its stores about every year since 2006, nationwide. The birds are returned to the breeder & not properly quarantined at the facility in Texas. They are flying into the wild. This negligence posses a threat to wild life leading to a poss. pandemic. Psittacosis, a serious bacterial infection, is transferable to humans & mammals. If it goes untreated, it can led to death. Place a Gov't Cease & Desist NOW!
