Sexual education is severely lacking quality in our public schools, not to mention the rate of STD transmission and unwanted pregnancies being on the rise. Now some people will argue that this is encouraging sex, however people will have sex no matter what someone else says or does, so why not try to make the intercourse as safe as possible? Sexual education in high schools is little more than scare tactics and a lecture most students sleep through. We need to revamp the entire course, and place condom and dental dam dispensers in all public bathrooms in order to encourage safe and healthy sex between persons.
