Place before the Congress of these United States a bill appointing a month of the year as "European Heritage Month".

Created by A.O. on January 18, 2013

In an effort to include and celebrate even more citizens of these United States in their unique and varied histories, we petition the President to place before the Congress a bill that would appoint a month of the year as "European Heritage Month" before the end of 2013. We wish to be able to highlight the numerous and history making achievements of the nation's European citizens and the positive impact they have made on our shared culture. Having a month to focus and celebrate on these people will help in creating an even greater environment of mutual respect and understanding between European and non-European descendant peoples in these United States.
