Please direct the US Treasury to design and issue all $20 bills with the image of Harriet Tubman. Tubman rescued over 70 African Americans from slavery on 13 missions into slave-holding territory. Tubman would be the first woman on a US bank note and doing this would speak volumes about American values in the US and around the world.
Andrew Jackson, who is currently on the $20 bill owned hundreds of slaves, murdered a man in a duel, and was responsible for the Trail of Tears through his Indian Removal Act. Jackson had his slaves whipped and posted ads for runaway slaves. He was a controversial President who left a lackluster legacy.
