place a law that requires teachers to receive education about suicide awareness and what to do when signs are given.

I believe that the rise in teen and young adult suicide has something to do with the lack of education among teachers and those in an educational setting about signs of either suicidal ideation or actual suicide.
Requiring the suicide education of those attempting to receive education degrees may decrease the rate of teen suicide by getting in between the teen and the cause of the issue.
Having teachers and staff learn the warning signs for suicide may save at least a few lives; and that's all that really matters.
