Place limits on Congressional Terms to force Congress to listen to the will of the people.

Created by D.P. on March 16, 2015

The time has come to re-examine the term limits for our Elected officials in the Senate and the House of Representatives.

The United States' Presidential term limits were put in place and accepted to prevent our country from being ruled by a "King". And this has been successful.

However, having this restriction in place for only one branch of our government will not prevent Stagnation and divisiveness, not to mention the complete shutdown of our system of Government. (As in the 2013 budgetary shutdown)

Proposed amended term limits for all elected members of Congress.

Senate Members limited to two(2), six(6) year terms.
House Members limited to two(2), six(6) year terms.

This has been proposed before, but Congress has shown it will not voluntarily limit its own power.
Take control!
