Place a moratorium on ALL hydrolic fracturing until the EPA has finished their study. Safety is more important than gas.

Created by H.C. on March 12, 2012

High volume hydrolic fracturing ("fracking") is currently an unsafe practice. It can cause earthquakes, water contamination, and can leech natural gas into the air. In Youngstown, Ohio the fracturing wells are causing earthquakes that are causing damage. In Bainbridge, Ohio a house exploded due to the leeched natural gas from a nearby well. Many people near these wells can light their water on fire due to the chemicals and natural gas leeched. The EPA has not finished its study into the safety of this practice. I believe a moratorium should be proposed NATIONWIDE until they can find out the public safety and environmental effects "fracking" has. Make the moratorium nationwide and show your administration cares about our health, safety, and well-being.
