Nature has had millions of years to produce naturally occurring and nutritious crops, and we cannot safely or responsibly assume that these GMO organizations will not have negative side affects on our health and environment. We will only know the true impacts generations from now, and as humans we have the right to decline participation in this experiment. The only way to do that is through transparency. We demand mandatory labeling of all GMO or GMO derived products and raw materials. And there must not be any new releases of GMO's until independent multi-generational studies can be performed.
2014 marks 20 years since the first genetically modified organism (GMO) was introduced into the food supply. Today, the top three crops of soy, corn, and cotton are over 80% GMO.
