Pay for government officials should be voted upon by the people. We should be able to vote on weather to increase, decrease, or suspend pay based upon their job performance. They should not be allowed to vote on a increase or decrease of their own pay. especially in troubling times. this can be easily added into bi or quad- annual elections.
