Something needs to be done to stop violence in our children's school. There is one simple solution that can help stop the violence. Placing a police officer in every single school will have a great impact on violence in schools. We need a deterrent that could prevent massacres like Lindhurst High School shooting, Westside Middle School shootings, Columbine High School shootings and most recently Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting. Now this is not a complete solution to the problems of violence in schools, but it is a start. Schools cannot fulfill their role as places of learning and socialisation if children and young people are not in an environment free of bullying, intimidation and repression. We as Americans need this as a start to stop all aspects of violence in our schools.
