Protective tariffs on foreign manufactured goods, and raw materials produced in the U.S. will provide much needed American jobs and business for American companies. The tariffs would encourage American companies to buy American goods. This increases demand for American resources increasing a need for jobs and gaining profits for U.S. companies. Secondly the increase in demand for American made products will open jobs for thousands of Americans in every state in need of a job. Unemployment rate currently 7.9%.
