During the recent conflict in Eastern Ukraine, the forces of Ukraine's army and volunteer military have tragically decided to use cluster rounds.
Cluster rounds are like shrapnel grenades, causing massive and indescriminate damage to buildings and people. Cluster munitions are outlawed in most countries of the world, and are banned.
As a result of Ukraine's policy of violence, over 4000 people have died.
We cannot condemn one's party use of violence ( anti-government) and not the other.
And so, we should place sanctions on the government of Ukraine and encourage other nations to do the same.
These sanctions should be military sanctions. We should provide no assistance in non-lethal, lethal, or advising to Ukraine as a response to their actions.
