Currently we have no tax on the amount of fossil fuels company's can burn, this means Carbon Emissions are skyrocketing causing climate change and unprecedented damage to our atmosphere. The United States should move to greener sources of energy such as nuclear (which can provide ten times the energy of fossil fuels), wind (which windmills can be placed anywhere, including the ocean), and Solar. If we do not act soon, in about 100 years cities like New York and Los Angeles will be under water due Carbon Emissions and Climate Change.
