Place term lengths on Senate and Congress members.

Created by K.B. on January 02, 2013

Senators and Congresspersons should not have unlimited terms of service. The president can only be in office for a total of 8 years, and Governor's have term length restrictions as well. I believe that this would better represent a larger percentage of "the people". Along with this, there should be caps on campaign funds and a length of time benefits are given to civil servants, like 18 months, but at their expense, not taxpayers. Also, they should not receive a paycheck for life. You don't hear of Senators, Congresspersons or Governors being in financial dire straits after the have moved out of the governmental arena.
