The American people are suffering because Washington bureaucrats are filling there pockets with tax payer dollars and receiving retirement plans for only serving one or two terms. As well "lifer" politicians are forgetting the real reason why they are in DC and becoming complaisant. This petition is to review the policy behind the astronomical pay checks that our political public servants are receiving in DC. If you want to cut government spending then start with the Paychecks healthcare and retirement plans of the politicians from the top down. If an American service member can live on less than 40,000 dollars a year than why can't a politician?
