place term limits on Senators and Congressmen to end the stalemates in Congress and give less power to incumbents

Created by J.G. on January 13, 2013

for the past 6 years the approval rate of congress has dipped to its lowest point ever. Congress has been filled with ineffective representatives, most of whom have been in congress for over ten years. The position of senator and congressman were created as a responsibility and honor, not to be a career. While the rest of the nation is still trying to recover after the economic crisis and several natural disasters, the House and Senate have taken little to no action to help the nation recover either because of complacency or fear of losing their power. That is why term limits not to be put in place, to give the people a real opportunity to represent themselves.
