Place Veterans who are in the Veterans Retraining Assistance Program (VRAP) on priority list for cyber defense jobs.

Created by J.R. on February 15, 2013

We believe that the United States government should consider providing priority job placement assistance to unemployed U.S military Veterans who are currently enrolled in Colleges leading to degrees in Network Administration and Information Security under the Veterans Retraining Assistance Program (VRAP) in any accredited College in order to gain access to future cyber security jobs with the Federal Government. We believe that military veterans who wish to continue their service to their country by becoming cyber security professionals should have access to these jobs as they approach graduation from these colleges or training programs through active recruitment efforts on the part of the government in order to honor veteran's wishes to serve their country in a new world of cyber threats.
