A plane crashes, do we ban planes? NO! I'm asking for the administration to STOP making changes to laws after a tragedy

Created by D.B. on December 18, 2012

I would ask that the administration doesn't make a law or claim laws need to be passed just because a sad event occurs in the country. For example, someone shoots up a school, mall, or other location. They're going to do it if they have guns or not. They'll use a knife if they have to, for example, China the same day.
This just doesn't apply to this issue. This applies for everything. Stop jumping the gun off of emotion! Almost 50% of America have guns in their homes. There are around 314,965,173 people in america. Therefore, that is around and up to 157 Million people with guns. Just because ONE PERSON a year or a few people do something bad doesn't mean there is something wrong with laws. The only reason Colorado movie shooting was so bad is because NO ONE was allowed to have a gun! TY!
