We urge the administration to prove benefits such as funding, tax cuts, or any other motivation to help large, urban cities plant more trees in their area.
As urban cities grow, more trees are being cut down and replaced by pavement. As taught in any grade school science class, trees take in harmful gases such as: Carbon monoxide (CO), Sulfur dioxide (SO2), Nitrogen dioxide (NO2) and Ozone (O3). Trees then emit Oxygen (O2) back into the environment.
By planting more trees, we can reduce pollution in cities, and increase the quality of air that million of people breathe. In addition to cleaning the air, the removal of pollutant gases can reduce smog and daily temperatures. Help make our urban areas a healthier place to breathe.
