Play an active role on FCC's purported attempt to lax rules over media ownership which would harm the consumer & public.

Wouldn't the world be a much simpler place if we just got all of our news from Rupert Murdoch, exclaimed Adam Mordecai?! President Obama's appointed FCC Chairman, Julius Genachowski, an individual who made a tidy profit from media companies, is purported to want to allow media companies to consolidate and merge EVEN MORE, so we can get even less-diverse news and opinions, but rather rely on a single source. We petition the Obama administration not to stand idly by, but rather place its full weight against such attempts. We call for busting the media monopolies exemplified by News Corp, not furthering media consolidations. We hereby sign this petition in full faith and trust that democracy would prevail over media manipulation and oligarchic control.
