Dear President Obama,
Although we recognize that states have the right to determine the election process, we ask you, not as an executive of the federal government, but as a respected Democrat who has long defended the liberties of the common people to use your influence in the Democratic National Committee to convince super delegates to represent the people.
Recent events are reminiscent of Boss Tweed, the DNC of 1968, and Bush v. Gore, undemocratic times when the general electorate felt that their voices and votes never mattered. Such days of backdoor politics should be over. Please take a historic step to expand suffrage once again by asking super delegates to allocate their votes according to primary and caucus results or even calling for reform.
