Plea to Save Town of Marlboro Families:
A few weeks ago our neighbors to the south endured a Hurricane- in preparation for the arrival of the storm many people had no choice but to evacuate their homes. Many did not. Instead, they risked the worst in order to hold on to all that they had… they risked their lives to hold on to their families and their homes… and many of them held on for dear life. Today, many people in this town are holding on for dear life… I speak for families who have roots here since the Presidency of Abraham Lincoln. I speak for the single Mom who works at the credit union by day and waitresses by night just to make ends meet- sacrificing the joy of motherhood in order to feed her family and keep her lights on… I speak everyone this town needs you to save Marlboro NY
