The United States would save billions of dollars annually by allowing Texas to secede from the union. Money that could be put to better use elsewhere for the citizens who appreciate all their country does for them.
Texans could then spend their own money to patrol their Mexican borders, recover from natural disasters, educate their young, provide healthcare...
In the future our southern neighbor would be too busy using their uneducated, sickly citizens to fight the war on their southern border to complain about the United States of America.
