Please Review and Amend the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA)
If a disabled individual has their benefits improperly denied by an insurance company. The insurance company cannot be sued for any resulting injury or wrongful death, regardless of whether it acted in Bad Faith in denying benefits.
The disabled have no right to a jury trial if they are under ERISA law. If an American has meritable reason to bring this to a trial, they are denied the right to a fair trial.
This abuse of process unfairly advantages Insurance Providers. The disabled are not allowed to defend themselves. Thus causing the disabled to rely on federal assistance programs instead.
Please help make insurance companies accountable for their actions and help reduce our budgets overhead.
