Unlike rank and file members of Congress who now receive an annual salary of $174,000, took 239 days off in 2013, and don't need or deserve a pay raise, the average American Worker is not so lucky.
A minimum wage earning full time Working American who is unfortunate enough to not be a Congressman struggles to make ends meet, sometimes having to work a second part-time job.
It goes without saying that for the most part Congress has lost touch with the very people who elected them, and it's fair to say that unless some miracle should occur in the House, those very hard working Americans will be left behind.
Mr. President, for the betterment of America and its working class, please bypass Congress and sign an Executive Order raising Minimum Wage to a livable wage for the American Worker.
