Please Change Import Duty and Tax rates to stimulate job creation and economy here in our own homeland

Please apply proper Import Duty & Tax rates on imported goods & services in accordance with what the value for the same is if made here in America, instead of its value overseas. If a product/service can be done here in US, then no exception/concession should be provided. By merely applying some % rate, it does not help America or its people.
Example- An American made item may costs $15 in stores. A similar non-american ones maybe bought online for around $1 & in stores for around $5. Those non-American goods when imported to US are levied import duty which may run in cents & hence negligible taxes are levied.
Obviously, this kills American Business & Jobs. It has!!
Whats the point in making things affordable here when people don't have jobs to pay for it?
Please HELP create American Jobs.
