to please change the law. There should be no statute of limitations in regard to rape. It should be punishable anytime.

When a person gets raped, they should be able to charge the perpetrator any time. Sadly, there are laws that do not allow a person to sue or charge the rapist after a few years. The statute of limitations does not allow people to do this. I think that if a person committed rape, he/she should be held accountable without regard of how many years since the act occurred. They should be allowed to sue them for monetary damages even after all these years.
