Dear Mr. President,
There are at least 100,000 legal immigrants who are stuck in the backlog and waiting for years to get the green card.
Recipients of employment-based visas and their families spend years—sometimes decades—waiting for green cards, which are capped at 140,000 a year and subject to per-country limits. If the unused green cards from fiscal years 1992 to 2013 are recaptured and added to the current 140,000 annual cap on employment-based visas, it would help reducing the backlog
Considering the delay and time that House is taking on the immigration bill, please issue an executive order on this issue and help hundreds of thousands of legal immigrants who are waiting for decades.
