In a society where marijuana has become more evident in the treatment of various ailments. Everything from pain to insomnia.
Schedule 1 is used for drugs with no benefit for medical use. The statistics now show contrary to previously placed studies that it does have benefits. In recent study done by CBS news 76% of doctors would prescribe if available.
One previous study showed that the drug is addictive, however if a marijuana user stops using they do not have withdrawal symptoms associated with addiction.
The question here is if cocaine and amphetamines are classed as schedule 2 because they have some medical benefits why not move medical marijuana also so that our doctors can use tools at their disposal.
