In January of 2001, I broke my L5 vertebrae at Great Lakes Naval Training Center. When I was released, I was told I "was never there and it never happened." When I objected, all but one paper in my SMRs was put in a waste paper basket and I was told that the remainder of my file would be "misplaced as well" and that I would "serve the remainder of my enlistment (4 years) in detainment in the Seperation Barracks" if I did not comply.
The physicians at U.S.S. Tranquility were so convinced that I was "faking an injury" that they tortured me beyond normal functionability.
After several hours of made to do jumping jacks, lift items, touch my toes, strip naked and a "sphincter reflex exam" that left me permanently scarred, they scrubbed my file and not even SSI will help me.
