Please correct the name of sea between Korean peninsula and Japan islands as East Sea not Sea of Japan. Cause it's true

The East Sea has been a Territorial Sea of Korea since ancient time. But in 1906, Japan invaded Korean penisula and northeast Asian continent. After liberation of Korea-Japan unification by the surrender in The Worldwar Two, Japanese government accepted to return the Korean Territory to Korean. But Japanese government assert that Dokdo is territory of Japan. Because they asserted Dokdo is their territory in 1906.
