Please do every thing possible to ban military grade asault weapons such as the AR15 and the like.

I and most of my fellow Americans do not believe there is a need for Asault weapons on the hands of the average citizen. These weapons, as we have seen repeatedly, are used to kill our children and others and should be baned. THe LA police were out-gunned by bank robbers using AK47 a few years back where they had to go to a gun shop to match the fire power of the criminals. That should not be the case. Any criminal can walk in to a gun shop and buy these weapons to kill. I say NO! they should be baned. Enough is enough. I am a hunter, bu I do not need a semi-automatic high powered gun to hunt. The NRA is out of touch with reality. It is just self serving financial posture. They don't care about the public.
