Using American might against Syria would be a mistake. Think of Colin Powell's warning- "Once you broke it, it's up to you to repair it". In so many words.
The Middle East is such a messed up area and always a pain to America since WWII. Countless Presidents have tried to make peace there, to no avail.
I truly can't think chemical weapons were officially used with the consent of Mr. Assad. Unless, of course, his grasp on the military is weakening. Even then, this government would recoil at using such terrible weapons- specially on defenceless people- knowing the world would fly off the handle and demand action.
We need to stop being leaders of military responces around the world. Don't use our gold and precious troops for a new mess.
